Re. Administration positions

Please find attached my CV which outlines my skills, abilities and experience, particularly in the administration field. I have a comprehensive knowledge of administration systems and general administration. I have 16 years experience in the Military both Navy and Army where most of my training was in the processing and circulation of all classified and unclassified messages and maintenance of the Defence Communication system. I was Secretary to the Principal of Primary school in NZ where I gained skills and experience in all facets of school life including enrolments and transfers. I am currently employed as a Personal Assistant to the Prison Manager for the Department of Corrections.

I have gained many skills in my current employment especially in the area of multi-tasking. I have a current First Aid Certificate. I deal with numerous external agencies which all have an input into a learning environment, my primary role as Principal's secretary which is often privy to highly personal and confidential information. On no occasion has there ever been cause for concern over this, as I effectively distance myself from staff gossip and remain discreet at all times.

I consider myself highly systematic, pleasant and courteous with very good telephone skills, and I am fully computer literate in a Windows environment. I am willing to turn my hand to any task, am quietly supportive and I respond well in an emergency.

I believe I can rapidly adapt to new situations and fit in easily with any team. I enjoy a sense of humour and have an excellent work attendance. I have worked in remote areas of NZ and have no problem with working in such environments. If successful in any administration positions if would be as single status.
