* Preparation of Purchase orders for the material requisitions received.
* Maintaining contacts with the suppliers and negotiating the price.
* Forwarding RFQ to suppliers.
* Making Follow up of deliveries for the Purchase orders issued.

* Developing and maintaining network of suppliers.
* Technical buying of marine parts and spares, machine parts and replacements for the vessels.

PROJECT INVOLVED:-
The Project Involves the Construction of 'Al Marjan' the very first man-made island that is being built in Ras al Khaimah.The Project value is € 50 million. Dredging International is a principal operating company of the Belgian Antwerp-based DEME-Group. The current contract calls for the reclamation of 160 ha of prime waterfront area. Dredging International has to level up to 4,5 metres CD, with sand that will be dredged from a borrow area located at 3 to 5 km from the island.
