Logged all core holes to develop new interpretations of regional stratigraphy, alteration and mineralization. Managed support group of geotechs to assure timely processing of core (RQD, photography & splitting) and RC samples.

Conducted real-time, detailed logging of 8 core rigs conducting deep exploration at the Tonkin Springs Mine in the Battle Mountain – Eureka Gold Trend. Typically logged 65 boxes of HQ core daily, totaling 55,000.'
New West Gold, Toronto 5/06 – 8/06
Conducted on-site logging for track-mounted RC reconnaissance exploration at Sandman project site NW of Winnemucca.
Atna Resources, Vancouver 6/04 – 5/06
Coordinated underground exploration program to develop gold reserves beneath an existing complex of inactive open pits 40 miles NE of Winnemucca, Nevada. Completed first round of deep diamond drilling to permit Atna Resources to secure financing on Toronto Venture Exchange to begin construction of an exploration decline in Spring, 2005. Supervised development drilling of a world-class gold deposit in northern Nevada. Subsequently, managed compilation of all geologic and assay information to permit developing a comprehensive ore reserve model for a large open pit. Interpretation of the mine database required construction of several hundred vertical cross-sections and 95 bench-mining plans reaching a depth of 1800 feet. Upon takeover of mine by Newmont Mining, converted mine data and geologic computer models from SFPG's commercial software package to proprietary modeling software of new owners.

Managed $4M sandstone exploration and delineation project to develop in-situ uranium leach production in southwestern Williston Basin. Initiated district-scale, deep exploration program for subtle stratigraphic uranium traps, Colorado Plateau. Provided technical corporate oversight on projects run by foreign subsidiaries in southern Canadian Shield and Saharan Africa (Niger). Left to begin consulting practice.

Site manager for underground (Grants Mineral Belt) and open-pit (North Dakota) uranium exploration programs in sandstone environments. Directed hard-rock uranium exploration programs in North America, principally in Southern Appalachians and Colorado Rockies. Served as principal geologic liaison and interpreter for French-speaking staff. Prepared French-English translations of book-length reports on African deposits, for use in marketing these properties to U.S. uranium producers as possible JV partners.

Rapidly promoted from novice to journeyman. Reviewed appeals of denied claims for disability benefits; prepared written decisions reversing or affirming the previous denials.
