- Review Issue for Construction Electrical and Instrumentation drawings before work begins. Oversee and inspect that the contractor performs work that meets requirements of the said drawings and the applicable codes and specifications and are in accordance with the latest National Electric Code.
- Provide daily reports, maintain and continually document and update As-Built drawings
- Ensure all employees maintain safe work site and performance
- Industrial electrical installations, terminations, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance
- Troubleshoot and install VFD's and PLC's (including GE, Allen Bradley, Seamons)
- Troubleshoot new and installed electrical systems to locate and correct malfunctions; read and interpret blueprints and circuit diagrams
- QC of electrical installations
- Electrical rough-in, trim-outs, and modifications in industrial and commercial constructions
- Perform instrumentation repairs and modifications
- Installation of small and large pipe and conduit; wire pulling for electrical, computer, and telephone systems
- Electrical installation, removal, repair, and maintenance of fire alarms and telephone systems
- Motor hookups, start-stop stations, and control wiring to include 24, 120, 208, 277, and 480 volt systems
- Installation of electrical panels and temporary poles; overhead, slab, and underground wiring up to 13,800 volts
- Order and maintain inventory; utilize various hand tools
- Terminate MCC transfer switches and panel
- Estimate and order materials; estimate labor hours
- Mentor new electricians on troubleshooting unfamiliar equipment, safety and operating procedures, and other electrical work
