Contracts Engineer: (Paris, France); Oct. 2002 – Nov. 2003
Participated in the evaluation of the tenders for the Onshore EPC Gas Plant & Compression Facilities Contract to be located at Ras Laffan, Qatar (2 billion USD). Tender clarifications, evaluation of the ITT Bid Packages including drafting of evaluation procedures. Assisted in the preparation of the final Contract documents. Refinery turn around maintenance for TOTAL. Preparing scope of work / bid packages, performing bid analysis and making recommendations for award of subcontractors. During construction phase, extra works cost estimation, daily construction/contractual meetings with the client.

Produced water treatment project in consortium with ABB Randall (USA) at Mobil oil terminal. Responsibilities included preparation and issue of tender documents, bids evaluations, contract negotiation and drafting, contract control and administration.

Leuna 2000 project, ELF refinery, Germany. EPC of 53 storage tanks (30,000 tons of steel) in consortium with NOELL (Germany). Initially based in France home office, responsibilities included:
* Preparation of the overall prefab and construction schedule on Primavera P3.
* Research of potential prefab/construction Subcontractors, tenders preparation and award.
* Inspection at various prefab workshops within Europe, to monitor progress and quality.
Subsequent activities at the construction site included co-ordination and supervision of the Subcontractors, as well as their contractual management. Cost control management. Preparation/submission of a claim package to the client.
Promoted to Construction Manager during project.
Construction Project Manager: (Port Harcourt, Nigeria); 1994
Turnkey project construction management achieved for Chiyoda. Supervision of a multinational workforce. Reporting to the Operation Manager. Responsible for ensuring that construction project was completed within the technical and commercial requirements of the contract. Resolution of field conflicts/local unions negotiations.
