Oct 2002 - Current.
Underground Worker.

Tara is a large lead / zinc deposit located in Ireland. The Thyssen contract is for decline and level access development. Ground conditions are generally poor and 3 twin boom jumbos are utilized on the contract.

Tasks undertaken and responsibilities include:
* Underground Miner - various work, mainly Service Crew.

Thyssen Mining International / Byrnecut Mining Contractors - Mount Magnet.
July 2002 - September 2002.
Project Engineer.

Mount Magnet Gold was producing 70,000t per month from the Hill 50 and Star underground mines. Development is by twin boom jumbo and production is from medium sized long hole stopes, with some hand held work.

Tasks undertaken and responsibilities include:
* Preparation of end of month invoice.
* Relief shift bossing.
* Fortnightly pays.
* Daily, weekly and monthly reports.

Abelle - Gidgee Gold Mine.
May 2001 - April 2002.
Mining Engineer.

Gidgee was producing 18,000t per month of underground ore from a very complex ore body. Development was by twin boom jumbo, single boom jumbo and air leg development. Stoping methods included small and medium long hole stopes, narrow vein long hole stoping, jumbo room and pillar, jumbo leading stoping and hand held stoping and rising.

Tasks undertaken and responsibilities included:
* Short, medium and long term planning.
* Day to day liaison with mining contractor and on the job direction.
* Stope drill and blast design and production sequencing.
* Detailed pre-feasibility on an underground operation from completed open pit.
* Ventilation, including planning, monitoring and the production of vent plans.
* Act as Deputy Underground Manager as required.

Homestake - Lawlers Gold Mine.
July 2000 - May 2001.
Underground planning and production engineer.

Lawlers Gold Mine was producing 45,000t per month from the New Holland and Genesis underground mines. Development was by twin boom and single boom jumbo. Stoping methods included small and medium sized open stopes, room and pillar style long hole retreat, hand held stoping and rising and narrow long hole stoping of flat dipping veins.

Tasks undertaken and responsibilities included:
* Regularly act as deputy underground manager (fly in fly out cross shift to underground manager).
* Day to day liaison with and operational control of mining contractor.
* Day to day inspection of working areas and direction of development.
* Production of mining reserves from resource. Reserve work included all designs (development and stoping), scheduling, costing and report preparation.
* Preparation of the life of mine plan from reserves.
* Pre-feasibility study of an underground operation from a defunct open pit.
* Stoping drill and blast designs and production sequencing.
* Short term planning and development layout designs.
* Preparation of monthly reports and tonnage reconciliation.
* Supervision and training of graduate engineer.

WMC - Coronet and Long Victor Mines.
January 2000 - July 2000 (contract position).
Production and short term planning engineer.

Coronet was a small tonnage (10,000t/m) nickel sulphide operation employing single boom jumbo development, hand held slot stoping and long hole pillar stripping. Long Victor used single boom jumbo development and subsequent stoping was by jumbo resuing and narrow or small long hole open stopes.

Tasks undertaken and responsibilities included:
* Day to day liaison with mining contractor and inspection of workings.
* Short term planning.
* Production planning for Coronet.
* Stope blast design for Long Victor, including training of, and working with, charge up crew.
* Scheduling for mine closure.
* Generation of work plans and instructions.

Homestake - Plutonic Gold Mine.
November 1998 to January 2000.
Underground production engineer.

Responsible for production and planning in one area of the mine, producing around 30,000t per month. Development was from twin boom jumbos and a single boom jumbo. Stoping was from room and pillar jumbo stoping, jumbo leading stoping and medium sized long hole stopes.

Tasks undertaken and responsibilities included:
* Day to day liaison with mining contractor.
* Day to day inspection of working areas and direction of development.
* Short and medium term planning.
* Production planning, sequencing and scheduling.
* Stope drill and blast design.
* Generation of instructions for mining.
* Production of mining reserves from resource.
* Preparation and management of monthly production accrual data and stope reconciliation.
* Ventilation including monitoring and primary fan moves.

Faminco Mining Contractors - Mount Elliott Mine (Selwyn).
May 1997 - September 1998.
Site Engineer / Underground Miner.

Mount Elliott produced 60,000t per month of copper-gold ore. Development was with a twin boom jumbo. Stoping was medium and large long hole open stopes.

Tasks undertaken and responsibilities included:
* Underground work including completion of required underground time and experience.
* Six months shift supervision.
* Day to day liaison with client personnel.
* Surveying. Acted as alternate to surveyor on fly in fly out roster.
* Monthly claim generation.
* Other duties as site engineer.

References will be provided on request.
