Job Profile
- Mine planning and design

- Responsible for planning and execution of mining operations i.e. Drilling, Blasting, Crushing, Screening, Transportation of optimum quality and quantity of limestone to Cement Plant

- Leading the team of 80 personnel

- Liasoning with different Government agencies like Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM), Directorate General of Mines Safety (DGMS), State Forest Department & Controller of explosives.

- Monitoring the variable cost.

Innovations & Initiatives

- Reduction in diesel oil consumption from 1.2 lit. / ton to 0.96 lit / ton through remodeling techniques (Diesel holds 35 % of variable cost and was the major cost consumer)

- Improved blasting performance by various trial blasts and chalking out the correct system of drilling and blasting to obtain best possible fragmentation.

- Optimization of screening plant by introduction of double deck and using wire mesh instead of screen plates for better screening thereby augmentation of limestone with improved quality.

- Leading role in implementation of Japanese Concept of working system, Total productive maintenance (TPM) special focus on Autonomous maintenance.
