PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

1998 to Senior Geologist (Unimin Corp., Ottawa, IL)
Present
Duties include geologic modeling of contaminants and reserve estimation at UNIMIN'S sand, olivine, nepheline syenite and clay operations using MEDSYSTEM and MINESIGHT modeling software.
Also responsible for reserve expansion within and outside of pit areas, foreign and domestic joint venture/acquisition evaluation, and design and implementation of exploration and in pit drilling programs.

1995 to Senior Geologist (Phelps Dodge Exploration Corporation, Lakewood,
1998 CO)

Responsible for management, administration and design of various domestic and international projects including evaluation and performance of field reconnaissance and site specific exploration programs, design, collection, analysis and evaluation of geological, geophysical and geochemical data for drilling campaigns, design of remedial actions and reclamation of mining activities, government permitting procedures and computer-aided data reduction. Other pertinent responsibilities included direct client interaction and negotiation, proposal preparation for projects in excess of $1,000,000, preparation of bid documents and bid solicitation, preparation of detailed cost estimates for proposed work and preparation of design and analysis summary reports.

1993 to Senior Project Geologist (Phelps Dodge Morenci, Morenci, Arizona)

Responsible for daily and long term geologic control within the world-class Morenci Porphyry Copper Deposit. Specifically, duties included daily pit mapping to determine ore, alteration and structural trends; interaction with mining/ore control engineers to determine the most economical mining methods; daily grade control; final pit limit mapping to determine optimal slope wall angles and stability; design and implementation of both in pit and out of pit drilling programs to delineate additional ore reserves; and short and long term forecasting of ore and alteration types to aide in mine planning. Additional responsibilities included development and refining of the geologic block model utilizing MEDSYSTEM modeling software to determine reserve status of different ore types.

1991 to Exploration Geologist (Phelps Dodge Exploration East, Rhinelander,
1993 WI)

Responsible for detailed mapping, sampling, geologic and geophysical interpretation of complexly structured
Precambrian rocks in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Upper Michigan with the intent of discovering structurally hosted gold deposits and
VMS/SEDEX deposits. Tasks included field reconnaissance, field supervision of geophysical, geologic and drill crews, structural interpretation, petrochemical analysis and interpretation and report preparation.

Responsible for planning, coordination, managing and participation in multi-disciplinary studies involving geology, geochemistry and geophysics as applied to gold and/or massive sulfide exploration in
Minnesota, Wisconsin, Upper Michigan, Nevada, Oregon and Idaho.
