Responsible for the Purchasing, Transportation and Warehousing functions relating to the decommissioning and site remediation of the Polaris Mines, northern most mine in Canada’s high Arctic. Duties include, development of site material management procedures, process improvement, negotiation of standard purchase contracts as well as service contracts, vendor sourcing, logistics planning for air freight and annual sealift replenishment as well as retrograde (south bound) sea shipping of equipment and hazardous goods for disposal.

Responsible for the purchasing, pricing, production inventory control and logistics for a nine branch manufacturing organization. Responsible the purchasing and warehousing and transportation operations for the Fording River Operations, including negotiation of major supply and service contracts, selection, training, performance evaluation of a staff of 20, provision of logistical services to support an 9,500,000 tonne per year metallurgical coal mine located in southeastern British Columbia.

Management of the complete purchasing, warehousing and transportation functions the northern most heap leach gold recovery operation located 70 km. northeast of Dawson City, Yukon.
Duties included, the selection and training of staff, the selection and implementation of purchasing and warehousing software, the design and supervision warehouse construction, cataloguing of inventory, negotiation of major supply and services contracts, drafting and implementation of purchasing and warehousing policies and procedures.
