Last job was overall responsibility for the operation of a 10,000-tpd phosphate mine in Vernal, Utah, and a 400,000-tpy P2O5 fertilizer production facility in Rock Springs, Wyoming. •    Oversaw a 25% increase in production through a $34 million expansion, which decreased unit costs and made SF the lowest cost producer of phosphoric acid in the United States. •    Initiated a safety program that resulted in an 80% reduction in OSHA recordable incidents between FY 2000 and FY2001. •    Initiated the conversion of the Rock Springs’ management system from team base to a more traditional program with employee involvement. This new structure will ultimately improve employee training and result in more accountability in achieving safety, environmental and production goals.
