Obtain a position with a Mining Company that will allow me to join a team of mining people who are continuously improving their mining operation. I am very anxious to put my 35 years of mining experience to work. I am very confident of the fact that I can be a positive addition to an aggressive Mining Company. I would very much like to discuss a position which involved some overseas travel and work locations.

EXPERIENCE
1999-2006 Buffalo Coal Company Mt. Storm, W.Va President
* Increased tonnage output from 40,000T.P.M. Per Mo. To 140,000 T.P.M.
* Increased Mo. Yardage from 550,000 B.C.Y. to 1,350,000 B.C.Y.
* With the use of focus groups we evaluated new equipment and purchased a new complete spread of mobile mining equipment.
* Installed computerized maintenance program and new maintenance theory which dramatically improved availability and production levels.

1999-2006 United Energy Company, Inc. Frostburg, Md.President
* Increased tonnage from 15,000 T.P.M. to 50,000+ T.P.M.
* Increased mo. Yardage form 165,000 B.C.Y. to 700,000 B.C.Y.
* Completely Changed Mining equipment form dragline to Mobile
* President of Buffalo Coal Company during this same period.
* Installed new computerized maintenance program and maintenance theory which dramatically improved availability and production levels.

1996-19999 Juliana Mining Co. Summersville, W.Va.Vice-President Operations
* Increased tonnage from 175,000 T.P.M. to 210,000 T.P.M.
* Revamped equipment on surface mine to increase efficiency.
* Turned mine from approx. $8,000,000.00 Loss per year to more than a $2,000,000.00 Profit per year within 60 days of arrival at this mine.
* Completely revamped workforce and instituted an atmosphere of working together with the men for continuous improvement. Employee involvement and shared information excited them and caused them to perform much at a much higher level.
* Instituted cost sharing, Yardage numbers, tonnage numbers, and mechanical availability of mining equipment. By sharing imformation with the men, they became interested and involved to the point they performed much better and this was evident in the production improvements and cost reductions at the mine.
* Instituted a gain sharing plan
* Installed computerized software maintenance programs and maintenance theory which dramatically improved availability and production, while lowering cost P/T
* Coal blending and maximization programs with extensive screening and computerized maximization programs
* Extensive Drill and Blast experience in Cast Blast Design

1980-1996 Patriot Mining Co. Inc. Morgantown, W. Va.Gen. Mine Superintendent
* Increased tonnage from 55,000 T.P.M. to 110,000 T.P.M.* Lowered P/T cost from $24.00 to under $17.00 in pit cost
* Developed focus groups, which led into development programs for operators to become supervisors. This is a great tool for developing people for the long term stability of a mining company
* Installed computerized software maintenance software programs and maintenance theory which dramatically improved availability and production, while lowering cost P/T.

SUMMARY
To summarize, I have extensive experience in the mining industry. I have worked as a President with a high percentage of my daily duties in administration as well as daily operations. I have worked as V.P. of operations with daily duties primarily with the production on the mine. I have worked as a Superintendent on mines with my focus almost entirely on production. I have installed computerized maintenance programs wherever I have been, and introduced a theory of maintenance, which has dramatic improvement on the way people perform their maintenance and the way the machines perform. Wherever I have been employed I have advanced quickly due to my work ethic, dedication, experience, team building, ability to surround myself with good people in key positions. I have used blending programs for coal, which have lowered cost, I am highly convinced that a computerized maintenance program will increase productivity while lowering cost. Also, a new atmosphere of how maintenance is approached has to be constantly maintained and nurtured All Mine personnel and management has to be on board and this program will eventually turn maintenance into an automatic mindset. I have found that hard work, attention to detail, and marked and monitored goals and the discipline to achieve them are paramount to success. I can operate any piece of equipment on a surface mine, and usually outperform most people in a time study. As you can tell by my resume I am highly experienced and from the school of Hard-Knox. I am interested in working with a company, which will allow me to use my experience to improve the mining operations. I have been on mines in California, Nevada, Wyoming, Okalahoma, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Pennslvania, Maryland, West Virginia, Kentucky, Colorado, Canada, and Virginia. I have been overseas to valuate mines in Turkey, which were State operated. I would like to travel in any new position. I have worked some in the past going from mine to mine and improving the operating statistics on them. As you can see from my history, I usually work in a controlled, well managed, high level of meeting budgeted goals environment. I believe that I can truly be an asset to the Company that I am associated with.
