Accomplishments include permitting of the new green field site, and Project Management duties involving: engineering, and drafting new plant specifications for a $13 MM, one thousand ton per hour "turn-key" capitol project. Project came in 10% under approved budget.
Plant managerial responsibilities included: P & L budget and capital preparation, reserve estimations, mine planing, production and maintenance, compliance with governmental agencies, company policies, and quality standards.
PLANT MANAGER, Buda Aggregate Plant, August 1995 – October 1998:
Responsible for a 1.5 million ton per year crushed limestone facility. Accomplishments: Reduced operating cost by 20% through increasing productivity, and plant design modifications. Operations included, drilling and blasting, loading and hauling, crushing and screening (wet and dry), stockpiling and load-out. Duties included budget and capital preparation, mine planing, coordination of production and maintenance schedules, compliance with governmental agencies, and quality assurance. * Start up and managed a 600 TPOH fractionated aggregate processing facility, that included an automated 800 TPH silo load out system.
* Instrumental in maintaining market share during phase out of an older operation and construction of a new plant by erecting and operating a temporary facility.
