 Putting together a 6 year mining plan including plant feed, water management, overburden removal, mining methods, quality control protocol, equipment selection.
 Design and constrict new settling pond system.
 Managing a overburden removal project as per the mining plan (8 million cubic yards). (CAT fleet of 992, 777 )
 Negotiating raw material import contract.
 Negotiating mining & overburden removal contracts.
 All mining activities including planning, operations and development projects.
 Responsibility for quality control of plant feed and adopting mining methods to reserve's formation.
 Managing local staff and subcontractors.
 Design and implementation of mine expansion project ($7M).
 Managing a project for developing a process to high-grade the alumina content in clay for the cement industry.
 Conducting a study of the cost effectiveness of extracting, processing and using silica from tailing ponds including handling, chemistry and quality control.
