o Involve with presentation of defence document to OTML lawyers regarding a fatality and other legal cases held both within the country and overseas;
o Drive NOSA, Environment and Site Risk Action Plans;
o Drive site services construction and installation projects;
o Liaise with environmental department to implement strategic and sustainable stockpile rehabilitation program such a the proposal to use low ANC material to cover a high sulphur stockpile;
o Manage all logistics for the Site;
o Provided an alternative ARD mitigation option by identify a low ANC resource for capping material that saved OTML over US$50 million. That was the capital cost and operational cost for a sulphur separation plant to generate the capping material;
o Manage an implement Sand stockpile Rehabilitation Program involving reforestations, mulching operation, and drainage construction on sand stockpile covering an area of 1000 hectares;
o The dredge produces about 16million tones of sand per annum.

Site Engineer at Bige Dredging Operations o Co-ordinate site surface drainage and construction activities, capture cost and create a data base to manage cost and draw up budgets and schedules;
o Assist in environmental work by identifying, choosing and implementing activities that will ensure the sustainability of the stockpile;
o Supervise all non-dredge related earth works;
o Plan and manage operations budget, regularly monitor performance against budget;
o Ensure contractors adhere and implement safe work practice;
o Promote Health and safety programs;
o Ensure the work is carried out by contractor as per the contract.

Mine Engineer o Long term and short term mine planning;
o Was involved on daily basis to ensure ore met milling requirements;
o Co ordinate long term geo technical stability monitoring for mine closure purposed;
o Designing creek channels on fill to replace the original creek channels;
o Designing, budgeting and scheduling of buttress to support high face dumps and reconstruction of dumps;
o Coordinated all survey jobs including: end of month and end of year ore reconciliation, geo-technical survey, design set out and monitoring and directly supervised the surveying crew;
o Carried out investigation of grade variance and established root cause for the variance between the krigged blast hole and mill head grades;
o Coordinate drilling of stockpile and grade estimation;
o Programmed from scratch an object oriented data base for equipment availability, utilization, costing for cost centres in visual basics and Excel for end of month reports and supervised the operation of the data processes;
o Programmed a data base from scratch using Excel and Visual basis to monitor pit wall movement;
o This involved the program calculating vector displacement of individual prisms and groups of prisms representing a region/section of the pit wall and dumps, o Producing reports for the Papua New Guinea Government Mines Department, o The program extracted text data from field electronic survey record and imported the data to Excel then does the vectorial analysis; for individual and regions;
o Reconcile mill through put and mined stockpile material through survey, truck and shovel counts at end of months;
o Involved in the construction of the mini hydro 8km pipe track;
o Involved in the design and construct of pit water major spillway;
o Coordinate end of year reserve reconciliations and calculation;
o Scheduled mining and placement of topsoil for mine rehabilitation with close consultation with environment department;
o Was involved in mining and milling annual through put budgets;
o Was a safety inspector - carried out monthly safety inspection on plants, equipment, sites, buildings etc;
o Implement mine closure plans for satellite and main pits: this involved trenching, pit wall cut backs, and spillway constructions;
o Co-ordinate creek aggradations remedial work and monitoring - these involved creek cross section monitoring and cleaning silt along the creeks bed entry into the sea.
