SUMMARY OF SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

More than twenty five years professional experience as Exploration Geologist, contributed the provincial (NWFP) mineral development. This includes 15 years experience in the independent capacity as manager of mineral development works / projects.

Completed in-service training of gold and base metal exploration under Australian technical assistance programme spread over a 4 years period (1992-95) and covered the techniques of exploration programme design and implementation through to prospect discovery and evaluation. Training included workshop courses at AMF, Adelaide, South Australia and on-the-job training in northern Pakistan and gold fields of Western Australia and Queensland, Australia.

Ability to integrate geology with mineral/exploration data to develop a workable exploration deposit model for gold & base metals, gemstones and other minerals. Experience of detailed surface and subsurface exploration, development and mining of minerals.

Duties also involved technical report writing, preparation of annual budget and liaison with department officials and government authorities for exploration funding, obtaining Mineral Licences and co-ordinating local community problems regarding land claims and mineral rights.

Five years experience of working at Headquarter office of the mineral department. Duties involved planning and implementation of exploration and development schemes including Mineral Testing Laboratory, R&D works and assistance and coordination in formulation of mineral development strategies and policies.
