SUMMARY
Over the past 34 years I have successfully been involved in managing various types of projects from grass roots to establish safe, cost effective and efficient businesses.
My success has been derived from building and leading strong competent teams and a good working knowledge of the operation.
My expertise gained in business, mining, contracting and consulting over the years has given me a rounded working knowledge and understanding of all facets of the mining industry and management thereof from face operation through to board level under all types of conditions.
Recently I have had the opportunity my expand my knowledge base by being involved with a new company that has required lage amount of background work and understanding as well as building, planning and strategies to be established to enable the company to be in a position to be listed on the ASX. The work has been very challenging but also rewarding in terms of personal growth and knowledge gained.
I have a good understanding and working knowledge of working in remote areas under difficult circumstances that have poor logistical support and extreme weather conditions.
I have operated and been successful in working in areas that are economically and politically challenged and have a good understanding of the complexities of dealing with bureaucratic government systems.
I have been involved at the senior level of management where I have had to liaise with government departments and officials to establish a good understanding and rapport in order to maintain the company's business interests.
I am enthusiastic about my work, enjoy travelling and am willing to spend periods of time away from home.
I believe that I have been and will continue to be a value added member of any project I am involved in as I have the will and ability to be successful.
