(a) Working as Materials Manager in Larson and Toubro Limited (ECC Division)

„« Organize the procurement of materials and services necessary to facilitate the plant achieving the plan agreed through Planning routine whilst conforming to agreed quality cost and delivery targets. Responsible for Project Procurement, Selection and monitoring for Capital Plants machinery, Materials handling equipment, HEMM machinery, Electrical, Power generation equipment, Office and Construction machinery at the optimal time / price.
„« Bulk procurement for major raw materials, consumable for low cost countries like Vietnam, Malaysia, China.
„« Ensure that a proper supply management system is in place and maintained complete procurement, Logistics Management, Insurance, Contract, Disposal and reclamation.
„« Develop and implement vendor appraisal routines and ensure all potential and new suppliers are appraised in accordance with the policy. Organize periodic reviews for existing suppliers.
„« Vendor management, Exports, Excise & Customs compliance, clearance, etc
„« Cost reduction, Standardization, value engineering and waste control activities.
„« Internal Auditor for ISO 9001:2000/ISO 14001:2004.
„« Manage Human Resources (The Procurement Team) & trained personnel in areas of effective Materials Management.
„« Compile and provide MIS Reports to Top Management.

(b) Worked as Deputy General Manager (SCM) from April 2007 to April 2008. in Wolkem India Limited an ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14000:2004 Company, Wolkem is one of the world's largest Wollastonite producers, and is India's largest Calcite producer. Wolkem has its mining & processing facilities in Rajasthan, Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh, Himachal, Uttaranchal, and Orissa state with 13 plants.

Wolkem is a part of family held Rs 2500 crore diversified industrial group involved in the manufacture of Pesticides, Specialty Chemicals, and Polymer, Electronic Metering etc.

(c) Worked as Asstt. General Manager (SCM). Heading position of the Stores and logistics in Global Steel holding ltd Sofia, Bulgaria (Europe) (A Mittal Steel Groups of Company).

Job Responsibility
* Develop a material plan that accurately reflects business forecast taking into account supplier lead-time & market demand.
* Manage the flow of materials into and through the manufacturing process with optimum inventory.
* Putting in place robust systems & processes for warehouse operations & Inventory Management.
* Independently develop strategies and tactics for improving operation efficiencies while improving service levels and reducing inventory levels as well as operation costs.
* Ensure compliance with established procedures and maintain effective internal control over the physical product flow and accounting of inventory receiving, and other inventory areas.
* Responsible for inventory planning, scheduling and general management
* Ensure adequate inventory of product in accord with inventory cycles
* Develops and implements inventory control procedures &wrote manual for stores & purchase system, Cycle Counting, and Physical Inventory.
* Leads, directs, trains and manages an inventory team.

(d) Worked as Chief Manager (Commercial) in Wolkem India Limited from May 2002 to August 2006.

(e) Worked as Sr. Manager (Stores/Materials) with M/S Highland House at Jhunjhunu (Raj) from December 1998 to April 2002.having 74% foreign equity, an American MNC & 100% E.O.U, engaged in the manufacturing of antique style of furniture and decorative items total turnover more than $ 40 million per annum. Reported to Vice President (commercial)
