WORK EXPERIENCE: Twenty + years of experience in dragline & truck/shovel mining, production, management, engineering, environmental and safety. The plant covers 8 million square feet (183 acres under one roof) sitting on a 1300 acre site. The plant is a very fast paced, high speed production facility (produces over 2,000 vehicles per day). Some of my responsibilities include: - Responsible for all civil engineering and major construction projects. - Review and approve all environmental permits. - Recently completed a 75 million dollar roof replacement project. Largest roofing project ever completed in North America. - Responsible for traffic engineering – Design the traffic flow for over 7000 team members plus hundreds of tractor trailers on-site each day. - Pavement maintenance – Maintain over 26 miles of roads, 10 large parking lots, and a high speed test track. - Landfill – Manage Toyota's on-site construction debris landfill. - Structural – Responsible for all structural evaluations and modifications to facilities. - Risk Assessment/Corporate Compliance - responsible for keeping company in compliance with all government and internal rules and regulations. - Kaizen (Continuous Improvement)-I am an expert at making continuous improvements. Toyota wrote the book on continuous improvement and I have mastered the process.
