ValeInco – Goro, New Caledonia
Subsidiary of the CVRD-Inco International mining company, ValeInco is constructing a US$4.3B hydro-metallurgical plant producing 60,000 t/a of nickel at Goro in the south of New Caledonia due to start-up mid 2010

Manager – Feed Preparation Plant

Responsible for operation & maintenance of the Feed Preparation Plant and tailing dam.
— Superintendent in charge of 65 to 70 people.
— Responsible for the commissioning hand over for areas and assets under my responsibility (process area, tailing dam, workshop, water supply & offices).
— Responsible in developing budget & investment plan after commissioning to bring the plant & tailing dam to ramp up capability and expected production rate.
— Responsible for the development of operation and maintenance instructions to operate the plant safely and efficiently.
— Responsible for contract design & management to support the plant operation.
