Personal attributes
I am qualified as a mining engineer with a MSc degree in the industrial environmental management field. I received masters with distinction, 3 awards during my engineering degree and I was the top mathematics and science student at my high school for that year. In particular I excelled in the financial analysis and rock engineering fields. My experience and my qualifications have led me into exciting projects in the mining industry as well as other industries. I have an open cast blasting ticket. My passion is working outdoors and doing financial feasibility assessments.
Current ambitions
I am looking to develop my skills in terms of mine planning and financial viability. As my career has progressed I feel that this is where my passion lies. I still have much to learn but I feel that is the best route for my career.

Including – Kaolin Mining Feasibility Study Makana Municipality (Mining project feasibility) and from January 2006 to July 2007 I was asked to project manage a Rhodes University Anglo American Coal Joint Venture project (project management, budgeting and report writing)
