May 2002 to present Canadian Mining Junior- Corporate Affairs
Planning and budgets for exploration and resource evaluation programme in Ireland. Grade and resource modelling studies, data integration. Assisted presenting the company to financiers, brokers, and the press in London and Dublin for capital raising prior to planned AIM listing for Strongbow.
November 2000 to April 2002 Project Manager, UK Mining Junior
Project manager for joint venture evaluation programme on a Spanish VHMS project. Responsible for running US$ 400,000 drill programme under an evaluation agreement. Maintained field office, operations, and support staff. Typical geological responsibilities including mapping, core logging, sampling, data integration, resource and grade modelling and exploration planning.
April 1999 to November 2000 Project Geologist, UK Mining Junior
Worked in conjunction with the project geophysicist completing a gemstone exploration programme in Ireland and Scotland. Responsible for mapping, core logging, assisting in ground and airborne magnetic surveys. I undertook corporate and investor presentations, and completed press and media releases. I was also responsible for liasing with government officials to meet relevant environmental guidelines and prospecting licence obligations.
November 1998 to March 1999 Consultant geologist, UKConsultant to dimension stone company working on research for aesthetic/marketing qualities of the quarry’s stone products.

Comprehensive 12-month Masters course in mining and exploration including exploration geochemistry and geophysics, ore deposits, optical mineralogy through to mine development and feasibility study. Course also included significant mineral resource assessment and geostatistical techniques as well as covering mining finance, mineral processing techniques, drilling and all mining methods. MSc thesis: completed at Boliden/Westmin Myra Falls Operations, BC, Canada. Using Medsystem software, successfully applied modelling of mined stope grades to account for inaccurately predicted zinc grades from block modelling and drill definition in the Battle deposit

Courses including optical mineralogy, ore deposits, fossil fuels, palaeontology, sedimentology, volcanology, metamorphic and igneous processes, hydrology, hydrogeology and numerous field trips. BSc thesis: completed on the Isle of Rhum, Scotland on the Tertiary Igneous Complex
