PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

I am a mining engineer by profession, associated with Raw Materials Division of Steel Authority of India Ltd. I have been posted at Barsua Iron Mine that largely provides the iron ore need for Rourkela Steel Plant. I have been posted at Drilling and Blasting section, mining maintenance section, dispatch of iron ore section before handing me over the full charge of production shift as production shift engineer. I am having now 2+ years of experience in mining industry.

Work Profile in Current role

I as a production shift engineer, responsible for the efficient process flow, process flow improvement and production. I lead a team of 32 fellow workers including heavy earth moving machinery operators and respective field supervisors.

We use computer-simulation and other techniques to determine the best method of mining. Planning part is of great concern. I have to plan and location of production and development as the quality of iron ore is utmost important in the recent scenario and apart from it
Planning the location and development of mines
Planning the height, placement of excavation equipment
Planning methods of returning the mining site to its natural state after the deposits have been exhausted
Planning and supervising the construction of access roads, water systems, power supplies, drainage systems, and materials separating, cleaning, grading, and reduction facilities
Writing environmental impact statements and other reports
