Experience:. An experience of more than 11 years working on limestone and Gabbro

Quarries and road projects with multinational companies' Expert in presplit blasting techniques. I have supervised nonel, electric and detonating cord blasting systems. I have worked with multinational companies on high productive quarries.

1 Working as a supervisor blasting with CCC on Salalah port project in Sultanate of Oman since October 2005.

Objectives

To produce eight million cubic meter of core and armour for Salalah port expansion project in 15 months. We are achieving our targets. We hope that we will finish the quarry activities in 13 months by achieving the targeted quantities.

Worked as senior Blasting engineer/supervisor from May 2002 to Aug 2005 with Stevin Rock L.L.C A leading ISO 9001 Certified company in U.A.E.
Objectives
* To develop the quarry to produce more than one million ton of quarry run per month.
* To produce 150000 tons of aggregate per week with in specifications of BS quality standards.
* To produce rock and armor
* To plan design and execution of the blast considering vibration and air over pressure limits.
* To develop and train the blasting team.
* To lead the production team.
Achievements.
* The Quarry was developed by18 months for targeted production of 280000 tons of quarry run per week.
* A target of 180000 tons per week sale of aggregate, rock and armor was achieved

* During blasting vibration never cross 4mm per second, (limit 40 mm per second)and air over pressure 104db.(limit 140db) even by using 10 tons of explosive per blast.
* Quarry roads designed by 1:10 slope.
* Quarry benches were 15 to 27m high.
* Developed good relations with police and civil defense departments.
* Developed an energetic quarry and production team.
* Drilling was done from 89mm to 200mm dia.

3. Working as mining engineer from 19th April, 1999 to 31st May 2002 withTurkish base Multinational "Bayindir Insaat" engaged on Islamabad ¡V Peshawar motorway Project.
Objectives
* To develop and run a limestone quarry for 180 km motorway project.
* To design plan and execute a rock road cut by presplit blasting techniques.
* To reduce blasting cost.
Achievements
„X A quarry was developed and supervised for daily production of 10000 tons crusher feed and 12000 tons for road filling material about 14 million tons in total.
„X A road cut of 280 m long and 72 m high done by presplit blasting techniques, with benches of 10 m height with 2:3 slopes leaving a berm of 5 m between benches.
. Both the above jobs completed 8 months before the schedule time.
„X I suggested and supervised a small mixing plant for explosive grade ammonium nitrate and fuel oil. Our explosive cost reduced by 40%.
„X An appreciation letter awarded to me by Pakistan army for safe blasting near their housing society.
„X Nonel system adopted for blasting.
. 4. Working at Ghazi Barotha dam project from March 1998 to April 1999 as a mining engineer with Dong Fong Electric Corporation, a China base multinational company.
Objectives and achievements.
* Supervised a lime stone quarry with daily production of 7000 tons of rock and armor.
* Supervised a sand and gravel quarry with daily production of 12000 tons.
* Presplit blasting for powerhouse area.

5. Working at motorway project M2 with Daewoo as blasting engineer from July 1995 to December 1997.Daewoo is a multinational Korean based company working in more than 20 countries of the world, engaged at Lahore ¡VIslamabad motorway.

Objectives and achievements.
* Supervised a lime stone quarry for feeding 400 tons and 300 tons per hour's crushers.
* Supervised a road cut by presplit blasting techniques with bench heights of 12 meters, a slope of 1:4 and 2:3.leaving a berm of 4 to 6 meters.
* Supervised the explosive magazine.
* Coordinating with inspectorates of mines for safety and health issues.
* Electric system used for blasting.
* Quarry roads made in 1:13 slope.
* Responsible for crusher aggregate quality.
* Responsible for supplying Quarry run for road filling with in specifications.
* To produce and supply rocks for riprap and gabion works.

Education: B.Sc. mining Engineering from U.E.T Lahore.
