Previous Work Experience/N.Y.S.C

(1) I have worked as a trainee safety officer in Maxmiller Engineering ltd, Agbarho Delta state in the year 1998 during my 4 months industrial training.
(2) Between 2002 to 2004, after graduation, I was massively involved in building projects where I do design and supervision on a private practice basis.
(3)I went for the National Youth Service Corps Scheme in Kano state, where I taught Maths and Technical Drawing in Dambatta Secondary School,Kano state,Nigeria.
(4) Presently working with Delcon engineering Warri, Delta state, as site control officer in the rig and admin officer in the yard. (May 2005 till date)

My Duties In The Rig As A Site Controller:
(1) I report to the yard on daily basis the production targets and achievements of the day through the radio, since am in the control room.
(2) I handle and distribute cash to be used on site for purchase of diesel, petrol, hydraulic and engine oil.
(3) I report equipment availability, souls on board, CASHES (Community Affairs Safety Health Environment and Security) statistics, and other production reports to the yard base in Warri, Delta State..
(3) I am also involved in the resolution of crisis between restive youths and the host community in our operational base.
(4)Supervise daily material handling processing issues and ensure material requisitions and purchase orders, inventory management are kept up to date on the rig as well as the base.
(5)Works and supervises in a close relation with the Shore Based Management. (6)Ensures that the storage areas on the shore base and rig are maintained in good order.
(7)Performs inspections on base and rig site to ensure they meet purchase specifications and contractual requirements, and that any deviations are properly identified, reported and corrected.
(8)Ensures that material and equipment received on the rig are properly identified and dispatched.
(9)Do analyses and trends of cost, consumable, spares and present for Shore Base Management for optimal budget utilization of rig maintenance.
(10)Monitors and reports on consumption, and ensures that both electronic and hard copies of inventories are accurate.
(11)Coordinates material charge back to client and material transfers. (12)Ensure the rig is complying and performs daily Maximo back-up, and distributes as required. (13)Based on approved PO keep records on adequate supplies of consumable equipment for the rig.
= HSE DUTIES

* Ensures adherence to safety policies and procedures with working relationship with the safety officer.
* Participates in the Safety Training Observation Program (S.T.O.P) when on rig visit.
* Participates in the weekly safety and pre-tour meetings when on rig visit.
* Ensures that every substance transported to the rig is accompanied by a material safety data sheet (MSDS).
* Be alert to any hazardous materials proposed for use, ordered, or stored, as well as the type of materials being substituted for normal stock materials.
* Maintains standards and adequate supply of personal protective equipment (ppe) for rig based personnel.
In The Yard As An Admin Officer:
(1) I do auto cad drafting of engineering drawings.
(2) I raise requisitions and control purchase of stationeries for both the yard & site.
(3) I take food stock supplied to the yard for yard and site consumption. After taking the stock, I raise way bill that will accompany the goods to site.
(4) I actively play useful role in policies formation in management meeting.
(5) Documents administration.
(6) General admin.
(7) I also do engineering drawings such as piping design with the use of Auto Cad package (2d&3d). Some of which has been constructed at Yokri site in Burutu local govt. of delta state, Nigeria. Am also good at building drawing designs and supervision.
(8) Identifying and cultivating prospective business opportunities in the region.
(9) Making sure the Group's web-based sales system is maintained and updated. (10)Supporting the Group's Key Account Management strategy to maintain the relationship with key clients of the Group. (11)Visiting potential clients and make presentation of company services. (12)To follow up and support the company in bid for all service offerings (Procurement Support, Construction and/or Project Management, Technical Staffing, Management Systems Certification, Product Certification, Training, etc. (13)To support the office to kick off the major projects. (14)To conduct the audit in each company office departments making sure the group system has been implemented. to develop, control and manage the regional marketing plan and budget (15)To represent the company in communication with the clients. (16)To access all regional client data and contacts. (17)To prepare and review major bids, tenders and contracts.
Personal Attributes/Possesssion.
I have a valid international passport, fit to work medical certificate and a driver's license. I also have a valid swimming passport from SHELL Warri, Delta state, Nigeria. Am a team player with safety as my watchword in anything I do. I always meet to company targets for her optimal production.
I am also an Associate member of the Nigerian Red Cross Society and a trained First Aider from the Nigerian Red Cross Society, Warri branch.
