From 21st September 2005 to 1 January 2007 Worked as a Faculty, watershed management in the Indian Farm Forestry Development Cooperative Ltd (IFFDC) promoted by Indian Farmers Fertilizers cooperative(IFFCO) From July 2002 to 20th September 2005 Worked as a Community Organizer (Geological Survey) in IFFDC's Western India Rainfed Farming Project being supported by Department for International Development (DFID), UK Govt., and was posted in Pratapgarh block of Chittorgarh district in Rajasthan. On Deputation Worked on deputation for IFFDC for three months and was posted in Jhalawar district to give technical inputs for water harvesting structures (check dams) to be constructed under Rajasthan's Rashtriya Sam Vikas Yojna funded by Govt. of India. Responsibilities * Studying, analyzing and documenting the complete geological features (geomorphological,petrological,structural,stratigraphical) and geotechnical investigations for regional development, site selection and development of public works projects. * Preparing geological notes, sketches, reports and Planning, designing & implementation of soil & water conservation measures and water harvesting structures for integrated watershed management. * Survey of check dams sites, feasibility studies and develop prescriptions for site selection, treatment & construction and identify & anticipate natural risk such as slope erosion, soil instability etc. * Identify deposits of construction material and determine the characteristics & their suitability of use and treatment of foundation before and during construction work. * Assess the movement of Ground & surface water and advise in area such as waste management, route & site selection. * Preparation and submission of project proposals with all technical inputs before the Rajasthan Government and regular meetings with the concerned government officials for required queries. * Monitoring the construction work of Water harvesting structures and managing the activities till end. * Preparation of monthly, quarterly reports and case studies. * Natural Resource Management for sustainable livelihoods. * Liaison with concerned local government bodies and people on a regular basis to ensure their active participation in the project and coordinating the RSVY project, jhalawar & Kanth project, jaipur's (Managerial and technical ) activities with the Chief Executive.
