ƒÞ Structural Modeling using Surpac Software.
ƒÞ Mining Rock Mass Rating (MRMR) using Laubscher's classification system and International Society of rock Mechanics (ISRM) system.
ƒÞ Detailed analysis of laboratory results of rock and soil properties.
ƒÞ Open cast pit design recommendations.
ƒÞ Analysis of slope failures using Dips, Swedge, Slide, examine 2D, etc

Water management, dewatering and depressurization:
ƒÞ Design, installation and monitoring of standpipe piezometers at Goldfields Ghana Ltd Tarkwa Mine.
ƒÞ Design of horizontal depressurization drilling programs, assessment of the results of these programs.
ƒÞ Forecasting the future water inflow and out flow from individual pits and the mine concession.
Waste Dump Stability:
ƒÞ Waste-dump stability analysis at Goldfields Ghana Ltd Tarkwa Mine and Monitoring daily advancements.

Gathering of geological and other geotechnical data collection
ƒÞ Organization of drilling programs and supervision of these programmes.
ƒÞ Geotechnical logging of diamond core.
ƒÞ Structural geological and rock-mass mapping of batter faces.
ƒÞ Field and laboratory testing for rock mass properties.

GOLDFIELDS GHANA LIMITED DAMANG GOLD MINE
Exploration Geologist
Responsibilities:
* Exploration programmes planning, budgets preparation and implementation of drilling projects.
* Reporting to the exploration manager at the end of each month and at the end of the whole project, the prospects for further exploratory programmes.
* In Charge of all RC drilling and Managing RC team comprising; senior geotechnicians, technicians, samplers, sampler assistants and drivers.
* Adherence to standards and procedures and ensures the most effective utilization of labour, machinery and capital resources.
* Wire framing in surpac minex.
* Running of Quality Control and Quality Assurance (QAQC).
* Drawing of section maps, interpretation.
* Responsible compensation of affected farms within leased area.
* Logging of Diamond drilled cores and RC chips.

Earth Works Quality Control Laboratory Technician
Responsibilities
* Earthworks quality control during the construction of the leach pad.
* Ensures that the right material type is used for the construction of the leach pad and that 95% relative compaction is achieved.
* Supervision of sand replacement method, monitoring and report to the project Resident Engineer.
