Duties & Responsibilities:

„Ï Pipe routing and preparation of spool, co-ordination drg, penetration drg, etc using CAMATIC (piping software).

„Ï Preparation of the Piping & instrumentation drawing(P&ID), general arrangement drawing, assembly & detail drawings and design of pipe supports.

„Ï Undertake review and comment of contractor design drawing & calculations in accordance with rules and standard.

„Ï Maintaining the whole documentation for the project and answering for the CLASS query (docreq).

„Ï Co-ordinate with the production for the spool fabrication & erection and give the guidance to the production in order to make and erect the spool accurate.

„Ï Material estimation for the piping & outfits and preparation of the bill of material.

„Ï Liaising and co-ordinating design issues with other disciplines (materials, purchase, production.)

„Ï Supporting CAD team in the preparation & maintenance of layouts, routings, crossings, P&ID's and other such key project documentation.

„Ï Preparation of lines plan, tank capacity plan, section plan, arrangement and foundation drawing, foundation design, torque tightening calculation, hydrostatic and stability calculation, etc;

„Ï Attending client meetings as required, identifying design engineering requirements and processes to meet client needs and also maintaining the good relationship with the vendors.

ABROAD EXPERIENCE:

I have been to NUMERIC CENTRUM BV, GRONINGEN, NETHERLAND and obtained training in NUPAS CADMATICS, a 3D piping design software for a period of three month.
During training, i have got a very good exposure in the field of shipbuilding especially in piping. Also, I have successfully completed the project given by the numeric Centrum during the period of training.

PROJECT HANDLED IN ABROAD:
Platform supply vessel (mpsv)

Bilge, ballast, fuel oil cargo, fresh water cargo, sea water and fresh water cooling piping system had been routed and the isometric drawing had been generated for the above said sysem. Also, I had prepared the specification and equipment modeling for the given project.
