Special Project: Designed and led a team of over 30 people of professionals and workers in implementing a Regional Geochemical Survey project with a budget of over $2, 5 million covering a land area of 40000 sq. km. The project implemented superior sampling methodologies and analytical skills that improved on turnaround time by 25%. The objective of the project was to generate soil geochemical dispersion and use information derived in environmental, land use planning and mineral prospecting applications. I have worked with the analytical chemistry laboratory in carrying out the analysis. I then processed the analytical data into information for land use and mineral exploration purposes. I also processed applications for mineral concessions and helped government and mining authorities in identifying precious stones in cases of illegal possession for prosecution. I successfully implemented an orientation studies to determine optimum sampling methodologies with regard to soil fraction size and analytical methods. Acquired methods were implemented in a regional geochemical program.
