Projects Involved:

1) Done a project on "Bi-product recovery from coke oven gas"
2) "Improvement of Zinc Recovery" of Zinc recovery from 91.91% to 92.26% with an annualized financial benefit of 797.71lacks.

3) Increase in through put of SAG mill from 198 TPH to 202 TPH with an annualized financial benefit of 20.75lacks.
4) Increase in Running Hours of STREAM-II from 7256 to 8000hrs.

Project Title:
By-Product Recovery from Coke Oven gas.
Brief Overview of Project:
During the process of carbonization of coal to coke, the gases that are emitted are known as 'coke oven gases'. These gases cannot be directly used as it leads to environmental pollution as well as loss of valuable By-products, which leads to severe loss of income to the plant. My project throws lights on the best economical and energy saving process of recovering the By-products before sending the coke oven to consumers.
During this process, the By-products that are obtained are Benzene, Tolene, Xylene, Tar and Ammonia.
