Geologist with MSc. Mining Geology from Camborne School of Mines and BSc. Resource and Applied Geology from the University of Birmingham with a 2.1 (Hons). MSc thesis based on an exploration project of a British deposit, in conjunction with the British Geological Survey and a junior exploration company.

Competent at geological mapping, digitisation, logging, reflected and transmitted microscopy, hand specimen identification. Strengths lie in mineral exploration, mineral resource assessment, digital modelling, GIS and communication.

Extensive fieldwork undertaken in the UK, Spain and Namibia.
Proficient with Word, Arc GIS, SPSS, Excel and DataMine.

Extensive courses undertaken at MSc. level in DataMine, Isatis, Excel,

Interests and Achievements

My hobbies include sporting activities, mainly basketball, where I enjoy coaching (I have achieved a Level 2 qualification) and have competed as a player in the BUSA Premier League and men's National Division 1 and 3. I have played as a starting 5 player in teams which won the English Schools National Basketball Championships, the Division 1 BUSA championships and the National Division 3 northern final. Additionally I have represented Birmingham twice in the BUSA basketball finals. In 2007 I was named on a list of 5 junior British basketball players identified with the potential to turn professional and offered a place in a professional development academy.
