JOB PROFILE:
Carrying out Palm Oil Mill Effluent water analysis and testing of sludge, testing of feed samples for their efficiency with palm oil mill products & for their utilization as animal feed.

Reporting to Director
1) Plan, Organize and execute experimental works as per project requirement.
2) Analyze chemical and biological tests of Palm oil mill effluent. Reviews daily of BOD, Wax, TDS, Suspended solids, Oil and grease and PH of the mill effluent. Record all observations, data and results.
3) Preparing technical reports, summaries, protocols and quantitative analysis.
4) Maintain and implementation of Good Laboratory Practices.
5) Provide Technical support for Purchase of laboratory equipments and chemicals.
6) Techno Advisory & Consultancy services
7) Train the Research Assistants in carryout the experiments, preparation of lab reagents and media.
8) Maintain familiarity with current scientific literature and contributes to the process of a project within scientific discipline.

ACHIEVEMENTS:
1) Techno-Commercial analysis on feasibility and Project reports regarding Palm Oil Research Projects.
2) Prepared project report on Utilization and recycling of Oil Palm Mill Effluent.
3) Formulation of best combination of feed using POME based diets for sheep, goat, buffaloes and pigs.
4) Economics of farmer has been reduced on cattle feed by using POME based diets by replacing costly ingredients.
