Khalda Petroleum Company (KPC) Salam Gas Train 3 and Train 4 TEG Gas Dehydration Unit (GDU).
Two (2) 120 MMSCFD GDUs operating at 1,000 psig drying to 2 lbmH2O/MMSCF
* Process Design, PFD-P&ID generation through preparation of Equipment and Instrument Data Sheets.
* Operator Training of 27 Egyptian engineers. This was a 24 hour classroom training course covering theory, design, startup, operation, shutdown, maintenance and troubleshooting issues relating SGT3/4.
* Commissioning and Start-up Lead for the Khalda Petroleum Company (KPC) Salam Gas Train 3. Train 4 was subsequently started by site personnel following the methodologies detailed during my Train 3 visit.
Republic of Iraq North Oil Company (NOC) Khurmala Dome TEG Gas Dehydration Unit (GDU).
One (1) 115 MMSCFD GDUs operating at 370 psig drying to 2 lbmH2O/MMSCF
* Operator Training of 4 Senior Iraqi engineers. This was a 24 hour classroom training course covering theory, design, startup, operation, shutdown, maintenance and troubleshooting issues relating GDU.
Nexus/Ramboll Generic I FPSO Gas Dehydration Unit (GDU). Drying 55 MMSCFD to 1.5 lbmH2O/MMSCF
Murphy Oil/SBM-Atlantia Thunder Hawk TLP. Drying 70 MMSCFD @ 2000 psig to 2.5 lbmH2O/MMSCF
Petronas Carigali Ruby Field FPSO GDU. Drying 12 MMSCFD to 6 lbmH2O/MMSCF
ENI/AGIP OML 120 Oyo Field FPSO GDU. Drying 60 MMSCFD to 1.5 lbmH2O/MMSCF
* Process Design, PFD generation and equipment sizing. Depending on the scope of the specific project or as requested by client performed detailed engineering calculations or advised on specific issues.
* In all cases above, extensive use of Bryan Research and Engineering (BR&E®) process simulation software ProMax® was used to optimize unit design. The integrated equipment rating packages were used to provide preliminary equipment sizing for columns and heat exchangers.
* Developed novel HTU/NTU calculation method to provide structured packing depth calculations.
* Provided process engineering support across global business platform.
* Detailed familiarity with NORSOK, API, ASME, NACE, NORSOK and ISO specifications.
