I have done a Candidate (BSc) in French and a Licentiate (MSc) Geology in Dutch and English. I have done a first job as project engineer in Land Remediation at Soresma in Antwerp and I am now working for a dredging company (JanDeNul), for projects in Oman and Australia first as bathymetric surveyor using multi-beam and single-beam sonar on the field and softwares such as Qinsy or Terramodel for the post-processing and the charting of the raw data in the office. I am now working as geologist for the most recent project in Oman, the work consist of the supervision of onshore and nearshore drillings and also to make some geotechnical investigations such as SPT¡¦s, CPT¡¦s, seabed CPT¡¦s, Vibrocores, ¡K) It is a 60days in/30days off system with 12h/day. I would like to work in the mining or oil industry as geologist.
