Detail Capital Costs Estimates for Fedorovo Palladium Project, in Murmansk, Russia, owned by Barrick Gold: 1.3 Billion CAPEX
* Responsible for developing capital/operating costs and schedules for Fedorovo Palladium Project. Deliverables based on the latest available code costing methodology and data, and the results presented in a Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) such us Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS), Package Breakdown Structures (PBS), organizational Breakdown Structures (OBS), Functional/ Facility Breakdown Structures (FBS) formats suitable for use by the Client, Project Manager and the project team.
* Develop detailed estimates, value engineering, cost analysis, life-cycle costing including repairs and maintenance of multi-disciplined mega-engineering projects including infrastructure, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation disciplines in accordance with industry accepted measurement and evaluation guidelines and principles.
* Establish unit costs, labour rates, productivity factors and location impacts.
* Set-up the Process Mechanical Equipment installation Manhours.
* Participate in bid analysis Process and evaluate the quotes received from Supplies and Subcontractors to support Capital Cost Estimates.
* Compile quantities from various disciplines and pricing the commodities such as Earthwork, Concrete, Structural Steel, Architectural, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, Piping and Insulation using unit rates and Labour Unit cost to get the Total Installed Costs (TIC).
* Use the Material Take-offs (MTO) to accurately price the on-Site Infrastructures such as Site Development, Main Access Roads, Service Roads, In Plant Roads, Haul Roads, Potable Water Treatment Plant, Sewage Water Treatment Plant, Waste Water treatment Plant, Tailings Storage & Water Reclaim and other various Infrastructure buildings.
* Evaluate and recommend allowances for indirects such us Temporary Buildings and Facilities, Temporary Construction Utility Services, Construction Site Support and Operations, Spare Parts, First Fill, Freight, Taxes, Duties, VAT, Start-up and Commissioning.
* Evaluate and recommend allowance for owner's costs.
* Calculate contingency using @ risk to cover unknowns.
* Prepare Estimate Plan and Basis of Estimate as a part of the Report.
* Present estimates and conduct review meetings with the client.
* Participate and coordinate company risk and opportunity evaluation with client.
* Maintain appropriate documentation to ensure estimating documentation is prepared, reviewed, approved, stored and audit ready in accordance with standards and guidelines.
