-Supervised and Administered 24 Vertical Soderberg Aluminum Electrolytic cells and managed 22 production line workers
-Achieved daily targeted Aluminum molten metal production through electrolytic metal extraction process, Coordinated with Maintenance and Foundry personnel to achieve process objectives
-Trouble shooting activities which included regular monitoring of energy consumption, reducing the number of anode effects, maintaining electrolytic bath chemistry and Bath Temperature monitoring
-Coordinated in implementation of Electronic Pot Control (EPC), Bar Breaker and Point feeder technology for the controlled operation of the Aluminum Extraction.
-Team Member for start-up and stoppage of electrolytic cells, anode in-line baking and cathode relining process
-Coordinated with foundry department in manufacturing process of Alloy preparations, Aluminum ingots, Wire Rods and Bus Bars resulting in a savings of $0.7 million in fiscal year 2005-2006
-Synchronized with carbon plant in maintaining the Anode Quality, Reduction of Paste Leakages and Anode Spikes
-Performed extensive testing on purity of Aluminum and Alumina and ensured they were free from impurities and fines respectively
-Deployed statistical tools for reporting variances in the functioning of electrolytic cells, cost control of the production processes, labor efficiency and productivity, inventory management of raw material and metal produced and monitored safety standards
-Monitored equipment utilization and machine downtime with responsibility for the implementation of corrective and preventive actions to reduce MTBF(mean time between failures)
-Involved in six sigma project to reduce the melt loss in the cast-house and was an yellow belt
-Acted as a team member for achieving of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certification and implemented in the shop floor
