PROJECT:PearlGTL(Gas To Liquids) LOCATION:RasLaffan Industrial City,Doha,Qatar POSITION: HSEQ Trainer/Supervisor

The project is jointly owned by Qatar Petroleum and Royal Dutch Shell and will include the development of offshore natural gas resources in the Qatar North Field. It include transporting and processing the gas to extract natural gas liquids and ethane, and the conversion of the remaining gas into liquid hydrocarbon products through the construction of a new fully integrated GTL complex in Ras Laffan Industrial City. Pearl GTL will have a capacity to produce 140,000bpd of GTL products and 120,000bpd oil equivalent of LPG, condensate and ethane. Over its lifetime the integrated project will produce upstream resources of approximately three billion barrels of oil equivalent. JGC Corporation of Japan and KBR (Kellogg Brown and Root), the engineering,construction and services subsidiary of Halliburton as the joint venture company MW Kellogg Ltd (MWKL) were acting as the project management contractors for the world's largest GTL Project.

Key Deliverables;

PROJECT: QATAR GAS (QGX & QCS) LOCATION: RasLaffan Industrial City, Doha, Qatar POSITION: HSEQ Supervisor

QGX Project (Qatargas2)

QGX project is a deal signed in between Qatar Petroleum(QP) and Exxon Mobil which supplies LNG to UK.The US$ 12 billion QatarGas2 project, is the biggest deal in the history of the hydrocarbon industry, will supply LNG from Qatar to the UK. QP has a 70% stake in QatarGas2 while ExxonMobil holds the remaining 30%.

QCS Project (Qatargas3&Qatargas4)

QatarGas3 is a deal signed in between Qatar Petroleum (QP) and ConocoPhillips for the development that calls for 7.8mtpa of LNG to be delivered to the US. The US$ 5 billion scheme will involve a new train to be built at RasLaffan, shipping and receiving terminal in the US. Qatar Petroleum has a 70% stake in Qatargas3 while ConocoPhilips holds the remaining 30%.

Qatargas4 is a deal signed in between Qatar Petroleum (QP) and Royal Dutch/Shell for the development of a 7.8mtpa project to supply North America and Europe. The project is expected to cost between $6 and $7 billion with LNG deliveries anticipated to commence around 2010.QP has 70% stake in the project while Shell holds the remaining 30%.

Key Deliverables;

Health & Safety Management;
Develop Health and safety Management plan and oversee implementation of the same as per OHSAS 18001. Conduct safety inspections/audits, Occupational health surveys and surveillance and field auditing for compliance. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly status reports to monitor the compliance. Devise and implement Emergency Response Plan. Participate Hazard study and Risk assessments. Conduct investigation of all accidents/ Occupational health issues and suggest recommendations. Review and implement PTW system and monitoring its compliance.

Environmental Management;
Oversee establishment, certification and maintenance of the system and the required documents as per Environmental Management system (ISO-14001). Review policies /procedures and suggest improvements. Implement waste management system and reduction measures, waste water monitoring and control as well as supervise Off-site wastes disposal and management. Ensure environment legislative requirement compliance and documentation.
Conduct ISO Auditing. Hazards & Risk assessment, Update and ensure the compliance to legal requirements. Develop and ensure adherence to operational safety standards, compliance assurance and documentation.

Project Management;
Develop and implement safety management guidelines, Project management plans and training plans for all the workers. Conduct inspection and audits to ensure compliance. Organize motivational and training programmes to improve the safety performance inside the team. Implement rating system to assess the HSE performance in project.

Fire Protection/Prevention;
To co-ordinate and advise on the fire fighting facilities/equipment management. Schedule/plan, functional testing,periodical maintenance, etc., Conduct audits to ensure the fire prevention measures are in place and to identify the areas for improvement.Organize training for the personnel on emergency preparedness. Preparation of
Pre fire plans and mitigation measures, such as procurement of various equipments, organizing mutual aid, etc.

Documentation;
Compilation, collation and analysis of monthly reports. Oversee preparation of necessary documents as per regulatory authorities. Develop Aspects and impacts documents. Develop training matrix on all HSE,Fire & Occupational health trainings and document training records for follow up. Make documents of fire protection systems testing and inspection.

PROJECT: LAFFAN REFINERY LOCATION: RasLaffan Industrial City, Doha, Qatar POSITION: SHES Officer

Laffan Refinery Project is a project which is executed and operated by QatarGas Operating Company Limited. The project worth a total cost of US$ 668.7 million covers the detailed engineering, procurement, supply, construction and commissioning of a refinery and associated storage and export facilities to process 146,000bpd of north field condensate to produce LPG, Naphtha and Kerosene hydro treaters to desulfurize the products enabling the plant to meet the most stringent product quality specifications.
The EPCC activities were carried out by GS Daewoo Engineering Consortium
