SUMMARY:
I have 10+ years of geological experience undertaking mineral exploration projects for precious metals (epithermal), base metals (Porphyry and VMS), diamond (alluvial and kimberlitic) and uranium deposits (Carbonatite and unconformity related). I have been involved in most aspect of exploration works from project generation to drilling management, from grass-root regional reconnaissance mapping to detailed exploration such as stream and lake sediments sampling, test pit and trench mapping and sampling, geochemical soil and bedrock sampling, geological field mapping, drill hole spotting and core logging, handling and sampling.

OBJECTIVE: Applying for a Geologist Position to a progressive firm offering the opportunity to utilize my diverse and hands on experience in Au, Cu, Pb, Zn, Nb, Cr, Ni and U exploration.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
* Detailed core logging using the Lagger Explornet and DH logger emphasizing the grain size, texture, structure and mineralogy. Took geochemical and assay samples with standards including thin sections for petrology. Updated these logs on the cross section and long section. Logged hydrothermal VMS related deposits hosted in metamorphosed rocks. (Canada; 2007 – 2009)
* Recorded and interpreted geological information from maps, reports, air photos using some GIS software. (Canada; 2007 – 2009)
* Prepared reports, geological maps and cross-sectional diagrams reports from field work. (Canada, 2008)
* Identified metamorphic and igneous rocks and minerals, collected and interpreted rock samples and made a rock library in my project areas. (Canada; 2006 – 2009)
* Field exercises involving the study and mapping of deformed sedimentary, igneous, and metamorphic rocks and of macroscopic and mesoscopic structures in the field. (Canada; 2008)
* Mapped and interpreted field areas in day or week long exercises (Canada; 2006 – 2008).
* Detailed mapping of Carbonatite deposit in Prairie Lake project in Northwestern Ontario including bedrock geochemistry and radiometric survey. (Canada; 2007)
* Prospected several radioactive Pelite and Pegmatite using scintillometer and conducted detailed surface mapping in Red Willow project in Cunning Bay, Saskatchewan. The area is covered by Archean granite and gneiss. (Canada; 2006)
* Collected Soil Samples following precise till sampling procedures for Soil Gas hydrocarbons and mobile metal ion geochemistry in the above project. Sampled also the streams and lakes in the above project for Radon analysis. (Canada; 2006)
* Prepared notes, sketches, geological maps and cross-section on site investigations and submit a geological report to clients.(Philippines; 1998 – 2000)
* Supervised the collection of field data; planning, modification and implementation of sampling procedures in sub-surface exploration as well as drilling programs. (West Africa; 1996-1998)
* Trained and supervised junior geologists and field assistants so that they have the skills and knowledge to work safely and accurately without salting in a remote environment and sub-surface activities such as trenching and test pitting. (West Africa; 1996-1998)
* Adhered to environmental standards and mining laws of the country being explored and enforced that standard in the project being handled and managed. (West Africa, 1996-1998)
* Demonstrated leadership in the implementation of programmes the management wants to enforce in the field of geology and exploration. (West Africa; 1996-1998)
* Provided input and direction in drill scheduling and sequencing of work and managed all available resources to meet objective of the senior management. (West Africa; 1996-1998)
* Ensured statutory reporting and regulations and complied with all the government laws. Updated the senior management of all the activities being undertaken and recommended technical solutions from time to time or if opinion is asked by the head office management team. (West Africa; 1996-1998)
* Prospected kimberlite pipe in Kenieba, Mali and and logged the kimberlite core. Delineated also the gold anomalies and logged the drill cores drilled within the Birrimian Formation in Mali and Ghana. (West Africa; 1996-1998).
* Prepared work programs, budget and technical report for Ghana gold project and Mali diamond project. (West Africa; 1996-1998)
* Collated, correlated and interpreted the Geo-chemical and Geophysical Survey Results gathered in Mali and Ghana. (West Africa; 1996-1998)
* Involved in all forms of geological mapping ranging from regional, reconnaissance to detailed prospect scale. (Philippines 1993 – 1996)
* Set up and supervised geochemical programs including rock chip, stream sediments, BLEG, soil and ridge and spur soil in tropical terrains. Most projects were porphyry copper related mineralization; low sulphidation hosted gold mineralization; and chromite and PGE deposits hosted in cumulates.(Philippines 1993 – 1996)
* Day to day quality control of the ore extraction and reconciliations for both mining and mill feed when I worked as a grade control engineer with Philpos. Open cut mining method. (Philippines; 1984-1990).
* Conducted a time and motion study like "cycle time" of heavy equipments so as to know areas of improvement. (Philippines; 1984 to 1990).
