B.Tech in Chemical Engg. from Govt Engg College Trichur, under University of Calicut in 1999 with 70%.

[A] From July2008 to till date
Working with RMMC a Dubai based company in DRC into exploration, processing & metal trading.
Responsibilities:
* Liasioning with joint venture partners.

[B] From Sep 2005 to June 2008
Working in Chemaf S P R L, a group company of Shalina SPRL producing Copper cathode & cobalt carbonate powder as Asst Manager in process plant.
The plant consists of crushing/grinding system, leaching plant, solid liquid separation, solvent extraction, copper electro winning, DMS, selective precipitation of cobalt as carbonate & sulphuric acid plant.
Responsibilities:
* Crushing & grinding system operation.
* Leaching of copper/cobalt to get good efficiency.
* Solid liquid separation to provide clear solution to solvent extraction plant.
* Electro winning of copper rich electrolyte to produce copper cathodes.
* Neutralisation of raffinate from SX plant to separate iron and other unwanted elements.
* Selective precipitation of cobalt to produce high grade carbonate or hydroxides.
* Drying of cobalt product in spin flash dryers.
* De bottle necking, efficiency & productivity improvement.
* Design and optimisation of resources.
* Providing training, assistance, guidance to local engineers and operators.
* Establishing systems and procedures for smooth operation.
* Making safety systems and SOP's.
* Assisting engineers & operators to operate the plant with DCS.
* Operation of 100TPD sulphuric acid plant.

Worked in OSWAL CHEMICALS AND FERTILISERS LIMITED, Paradeep, Orissa as process engineer. Its the Worlds largest grass root phosphatic fertilizer complex.
Job Responsibilities:
* Involved in testing & commissioning of DAP plant.
* Handling of NH3 storage and vaporization (32 tph) through various Heat Exchangers (Horizontal &Vertical, Shell & Tube heat exchanger, Finned tube H.E, Kettle type H.E)
* Handling Fan & Pumps (slurry handling vertical & horizontal centrifugal pumps,
Diaphragm pumps)
* Controlling various process parameters (mole ratio, specific gravity of the DAP slurry, Temperature, pressure, airflow etc.)
* Controlling operations like reaction, granulation, drying, scrubbing.
* Job responsibility also include various mechanical operations like screening, crushing, Material transportation via conveyors and bucket elevators.
* Troubleshooting as and when required.

Achievements:
* Redesigned mixer distribution system to plodders, which increased number of batches from 10 to 22 per day in HLL.
* Introduced trickle valve system in Oswal in the cyclones in place of sleeve valves which reduced chocking and downtime of cyclones.
* In Chemaf, heat exchanger tube side pass modification done which resulted in 100% availability from 40 %.
* In Chemaf, dryer distribution system modified resulting in parallel drying of copper and cobalt carbonate with reduction of manpower.
* Designed and implemented washing system for filter presses which reduced valve operation and filtration cycle time from 4 hours to 3.45 hours.
* Introduced parallel feeding system for filter presses thereby increasing flow rate from 70 M3/Hr to 100 M3/Hr.
