Achievement:
* Active participation during the commissioning of Roller hearth furnace.
* Introducing Carbonitriding and Bainitic process by doing little changes in Bell furnace which was design for Through hardening.
* Modifying the fixture used for making batches which help in increasing the daily production.
* Introducing compressed air for doing soot burning which increases lot of efficiency for soot burning and reduce carbon in the furnace.
* Deep study for hardening time and temp. and quenching time and temp. in order to get less ovality and distortion in the material (rings).
* Introducing compressed air in flame curtain which increase the height of flame curtain before the inlet door of hardening furnace in order to enter minimum oxygen inside the furnace which may decrease the carbon level.

I am working as Supervisor in heat treatment department we are doing heat treatment of material like BBS, High Carbon Steel, Forged Steel, Grade like EN31, SUJW220D,SAE51200, on Roller hearth furnace which is the largest and this type of only furnace in India for heat treatment in bearing company and its totally automatic furnace, its capacity is 1500kg per hour. I am handling 7 person under my observation for the loading and unloading and production related work on the furnace. I am having good knowledge of Mesh Belt furnace, Continuous Rotary, Sealed Quench F/C and Bell type furnace. In our company we are doing the process like Bainitic, Carbonitriding, Martensitic and Through hardening. And also having good knowledge of Carburizing Process and Induction Hardening. Beside this little bit of maintenance, setting the gas ratio for burners and gas setting for maintaining the carbon percentage and atmosphere control inside the furnace with less soot formation inside the furnace and good finishing of rings are under my observation. I am also supervising the weekly preventive maintenance done on the furnace. And had ability to achieve the daily production target.

Beside this Endo Gas generation is also observed and control by me, endo gas is for maintaining the atmosphere and carbon level in some of the furnace like bell and mesh belt furnace. I am having good knowledge of endo generation and its content.

Further I am having interest in quality control and having good knowledge in checking micro structure of the soft and hardened material, sample preparation for micro checking, checking hardness and stretching of the ring used for making bearing and ovality checking, stress relieving and crack testing. I had completed NDT Level-2 according to ASNT document SNT-TC-1A (2001) in UT, PT, MT, RT and even performing the tests in part time as I want to increase my knowledge in the field of quality control and analysis of material. I am also familiar with ASME Codes and Sections.

Industrial Training
I had taken my vocational training of three month in the last semester of my college form Birla Copper, Dahej(Bharuch). I am familiar with the method of extraction of copper from ores, right form the starting, raw material handling, concentrate storage yard to flash smelting furnace followed by slag cleaning furnace and than to anode furnace and lastly to refining process for anode to cathode upto getting 99.99% pure copper.
