Work Involved while at Anand technology services:
1) Software: HYPERMESH MSC Patran & Nastran.
Work: Finite Element Modeling (Discretisation) and Linear Elastic Finite
Element analysis and modal analysis ENGINE CRADLE
Description: Finite element analysis of the engine cradle was carried out to assess the Adequacy of engine cradle design. The main aim was to find the high Stress regions under service condition of operational loading.
2) Software: MSC Patran & Nastran.
Work: Finite Element Modeling (Discretisation) and Linear Elastic Finite Element analysis of steering knuckle.
Description: Finite element analysis of the steering knuckle was carried out to assess the Adequacy of welded steering lever design. The aim was to find the high Stress regions and to ensure that the stress levels are low enough in the Weld region to ensure adequate fatigue life of the component under service condition
3) Software: MSC Patran & Nastran.
Work: Finite Element Modeling (Discretisation) and Linear Elastic Finite Element analysis of Rear axle assembly of HCV.
Description: Four alternative designs for the adjustable tread front axle designed for 55HP tractor of John Deere, India, were modeled and analysed in an attempt to reduce the stress level in the axle structure under operational loads. It is indicated by the results of the analysis that removal of stiffening ribs and at use of thicker vertical reinforcement plates helps reduces stress concentration and brings down the stress levels close to the acceptable levels for the required fatigue life.
4) Software: MSC Patran & Nastran and Hyperrmesh
Work: Finite Element Modeling (Discretisation) and Linear Elastic Finite Element analysis of Flange Yoke
Description: To determine the stress levels in the flange yoke design subjected to a rated torque loading and a fatigue torque loading. The stresses in the component under prescribed loading are found to be very high and it is recommended that the design be reviewed to reduce stress levels.
5) Software: MSC Patran & Nastran and Hyperrmesh
Work: Finite Element Modeling (Discretisation) and Linear Elastic Finite Element analysis of Adjustable Front axle for Tractor
Description: The finite element analysis of the adjustable tread front axle designed for 55HP tractor of John Deere, India, was carried out to study the adequacy of the design for the expected fatigue loading.
