WORK EXPERIENCE

2002:    Final Year Project
I did the project titled ‘Drivers and Pedestrians Behaviour at Pedestrians Crosswalks ’. During the project I did a lot of research of drivers and pedestrians behaviour as they interact at crosswalks

2001:    Practical Training III
I worked with SOU CONSULT LTD in Dar es Salaam City, on the project for 8 weeks. I did Design of Reinforced Structures, of their different project that was under construction, assisting supervisors in checking the quality and quantity of the works done by the contractor.

2000:    Practical Training II
I worked with IMPRESSA FEDERICI FORTUNATO S.p.A in the project of the construction of a 43 km Asphalt Road from Dar es Salaam to Bagamoyo for 8 weeks. I worked as assistant site supervisor and materials technician.

1999:    Practical Training I
I worked with TANROADS in Labour Based Road Construction Technology and Spot Rehabilitation for unpaved and paved roads in Mara region. I worked for 8 weeks as site supervisor for the stretch of 2 Km long, with an average of 30 labourers per day.

1999:     Surveying Camp
I did surveying as a subject for 1 year and surveying camp for 2 weeks.
Surveying camp comprises of all surveying procedures from site reconnaissance, leveling up to drawing the contour map of the study area.
