Geotech drilling included SPT, piezometer monitoring holes, dewatering holes, foundation or grout holes and anchor bolting holes to support mine walls. Constructed time and motion study and PERT/CPM schedules of drill rigs, monitoring and analysis of the drilling performance, analysis of drill equipment, drilling tools/parts and down-the-hole items, and machine parts and supplies monitoring and useful life analysis. All these studies were performed to upgrade continuously the efficiency and cost effectiveness of the operations. Supervised drilling rigs with at least 6 men working per rig. Responsibilities included logistics for continuous operation, analysis of ground formation encountered so that proper drilling procedures are implemented, correct drilling mud and additives are used to avoid possible problems. Was also in charge of preparation of next drill pad to provide ready site, mobilization procedure aside from the usual supervision of daily drilling activities. Involved on the job /hands-on activities on the repair and preventive maintenance schedule of various equipment which meant acting as supervisor to mechanics/mechanical section of the drilling operation.
