Preparing and negotiating construction bids and developing cost estimates. Prepare various O&M documents and other technical reports. Have working knowledge of monitoring well construction, sampling strategies, field investigation techniques, and analytical methods. Experienced in the operation of various types of gas, air and water monitoring equipment. PROJECT EXPERIENCE

Jr. Construction Manager. Fort Sheridan, IL provided project oversight, and technical support for construction and remediation of CERCLA and RCRA projects under the Army GFPR contract to achieve regulatory closure of task areas within Fort Sheridan. Responsibilities include project oversight, client and regulatory contact, writing and reviewing of project related plans, reports and specifications and provide technical comments when needed. Field work included performing weekly safety meetings, calibration and maintenance of all monitoring equipment. Responsible for daily summary reports and incident reports, ordering of safety equipment, enforcing all safety rules and regulations and providing logistical support.

Landfill Construction and Monitoring: Provided construction, safety and technical oversight of the construction of RCRA-equivalent caps. Responsibilities included monitoring of personnel safety, logging construction activity, site inspections, reviewing specifications and technical data, leachate and groundwater monitoring, interpretation of geological and hydro-geological data, groundwater quality analysis, report preparation and review. Operation and Maintenance responsibilities include the operation and maintenance of an active leachate collection and storage system and active landfill gas collection system, Managed the installation monitoring well networks.

Well Abandonment
Managed the abandonment of monitoring wells and piezometers according to state and local regulations.

Site Remediation
Provided project oversight and technical support for the excavation of contaminated soil. Responsibilities included using knowledge of Federal and state regulations along with project plans, to implement air monitoring, soil sampling, and data review and document preparation. Remediated sites include:

* Remediation of Coal Storage Area 3 (Polynuclear Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAH) Remediation)

Provides technical support and document and data review for the Performance Based Contract (PBC) work.
