I am working as Associate Manager (Laboratory) in Vedanta Aluminium limited, India and worked for Commissioning and establishing new Refinery Laboratory.

In past, I have worked in Central laboratory of STERLITE COPPER, Vedanta resources plc in the first 4years and worked out the projects like Precious metal recovery and other improvement projects in Development cell for 1 year and Then worked for setting up and establishment of New Refinery laboratory and Worked as an Asst.Chemist (Alternative Incharge) in Refinery Lab.

And then worked as R&D Sceintist (Sr. Executive) for process developements at R&D centre of CHEMAF at Mumbai under Prof. S.Venkatachalam, Retd. HOD of Metallurgy, Indian institute of technology (I.I.T.), Mumbai, INDIA.

Worked as R&D Scientist (Sr. Executive) in R&D of Chemaf at Mumbai (INDIA) for 9 months.
Worked as Asst.Chemist (Alternative Incharge) in Laboratory of Sterlite copper for 6.4 year.

Working experiance in Windows, MS office, SAP- R/3 and Lotus notes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Commissioning and Calibration of instruments
* Commissioning of the total wet chemical analysis wing and Establishing the methods for analysis
* New analytical method development
* Listing the job activities for the day, work distribution and monitoring the subordinates
* Conducting experimental analysis for process developements
* Carrying out all the wet chemical and instrumental analysis
* Preparing budgetory reports for Laboratory
* Procuring Spares, Chemicals, glassware and maintaining required inventory
* Evaluates and administers contracts with vendors for provision of Services and equipment
* Skills in Sampling techniques
* Reviews and recommends new /enhanced laboratory equipment
* Cost reduction in analysis by searching / developing new alternatives
* Preparation of training modules and presentations on Instrumental and wet chemical methods of analysis and training and developing the subordinates
* Reports quality control/ quality analysis issues and makes recommendation to
HOD
* Preparing comparative statements for equipment and technical recommendation
* Maintains laboratory instrumentaion and equipment
* ISO documentation and Preparing Work instructions
* Taking care completely about SAP QM module
