Mine Geology
*Diamond drill core logging, including geotechnical logging and sampling, of the rocks of the stratiform mafic/ultramafic intrusive platinum and palladium deposit of the Stillwater Complex in Montana.
*Underground grade control training of approximately 1-2 shifts/wk involving face mark ups, grade estimations, controlling dilution/deletion, and sampling.
*Development geology computer training using AutoCAD and Vulcan.
*Basic Stillwater geology lecturing to new hire safety training classes.
*Forklift operation.

Exploration Geology
*Diamond drill core logging, including geotechnical logging and sampling, of the rocks of the Sterling Gold carbonate hosted disseminated gold deposit in SW Nevada.
*Field investigations utilizing literature research, GPS, Brunton compass, aerial photos, previous mining activity, and grab sampling to evaluate mineral potential of SW Nevada properties.
*Geophysical surveying using EM and magnetic survey methods along with field geophysics coursework involving basic surveying and other geophysical methods.
*Working independently with weekly reporting to project geologist.
*Claim staking.
*Mapping of field data using AutoCAD, ArcView and Excel computer software.

Supervision/Management
*On-site night shift geologist overseeing progress and activity of contract drill crew during the underground drill program at Sterling involving spot decision making.
*Assistant manager in restaurant environment. Duties included supervision of up to 8 employees/shift, scheduling, inventory, writing bulk food orders, and strict quality control to ensure consistency and safety in food production.
*Assistant teaching of Structural Geology and Petrology laboratories at
