Only one Indian to work for all the three Non-Ferrous TSL plants in India, involved in erection and commissioning and process stabilizing of TSL in two smelters ( Birla Copper and Hindustan Zinc Ltd. ), process stabilizing (Sterlite Copper ) and presently involved in the commissioning and process optimization of Electric arc Furnaces.

Feed input, Two Electric arc furnaces 15 KVA and 12 KVA ( Slag cleaning furnace and Cobalt recovery furnace ) 60 TPH Waste Heat Recovery boiler (WHRB), Hot Electrostatic precipitator (HESP), Acid Plant – 1850 TPD, water treatment plant, Dryer Capacity -120 Tph, Oxygen Plant 750 Tpd

In-charge for the brown field project's electric furnace section & project execution and responsible for project schedule, timely completion, quality, erection logistics, Worked as Team leader – Projects

Lead Expansion project in Chanderiya Lead Zinc Smelter (CLZS) – Hindustan Zinc limited -Rajasthan – India. with AUSMELT technology (TSL) with a capacity of 60,000 TPA lead bullion production having 40TPH Raw material Handling system, 23.5 TPH Waste Heat Recovery boiler (WHRB), Hot Electrostatic precipitator (HESP), Gas cleaning plant (GCP), SO absorption/Desorption plant (Cansolv™) & subsequent modification in the existing Sulphuric acid plant and in the lead refinery to refine lead bullion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In-charge for the brown field project's furnace section & project execution and responsible for project schedule, timely completion, quality, erection logistics, Worked as Associate Manager – Projects
Specific role played in refractory erection contract and commissioning of Ausmelt furnace alongwith the utility equipments.

Raw\ material production planning, Man power planning, planning shift activities in order to achieve production as per plan. Inter / intra department co-ordination preparation of productivity sheet for MIS on daily basis for smelter division.

ACHIEVEMENTS

* COLD, HOT COMMISSIONING AND OPERATIONS OF TWO COPPER AND ONE LEAD SMELTER IN A SPAN OF
9YRS AND 6 MONTHS.

* Handled the Process control system for copper smelter and accessories during ramp up expansion and normal running.
* Successfully carried out the commissioning of water cooled hood system for copper converters, ( pierce smith convertors )
* Core group member of ISA SMELT –Sterlite Copper- Smelting team for improvement projects.
* In-charge of So2 Absorption/Desorption plant (project worth 110 million INR )
* In-charge of Refractory lining Packages
* Commissioning of control system and other utilities like raw material handling, pump house, Cooling towers, slag granulation system, dust handling system, alloy granulation systems
* Visited Yunnan Tin Smelter at China, to get hands on exposure to the Ausmelt technology.
* WHRB was hydro tested with out any problem from the concrete pouring in 08 Months and 08 days which is best quickly ever built boiler of same type in INDIA.
* Hot ESP, GCP, CANSLOV units were built in 07 months which is the fastest in standards (from foundation in a brown field)
* AUSMELT structures and furnace building, refractory laying and heat up done in 365 days.
* Lead was tapped from lead oxide and plant up to GCP hot commissioned in 01 year and 28 days.
* Hands on Experience operation on Yokogawa CENTUM CS System (Unix Based).
* Hands on Experience on operation of Yokogawa CS 3000 System.
