I am an underground Maintenance Foreman/Electrician with exstensive knowledge and training. I have exceptional skills in all areas and I am a very safe and dependable miner. I have great communication, computer, and writing skills also. I have many hours of OEM training and am up to date on all the new control systems for Longwall and Continous Miners,such as FACEBOSS, Joy Outby System, IRIS, and much more. I am very capable in all areas of underground mining such as Longwall,CM, and outby. I Have close to 11 years as an underground Electrician, I am 28 years of age,and have a high school diploma, and attended and graduated from Mingo Mine Academy's underground Electrical school. I am young,experienced,and extremely motivated. Field Representitive, Joy Mining Machinery.
I worked out of the Meadowlands Sales office as a Field Rep taking care of Consol Energy's Northern Operations and a Salt Mine in Detroit. While there I worked on all Joy equipment on Longwall and CM sections. I helped on new machines and control systems such as the 14ED25 miner bolter, Flexible Conveyor Train, RS20s shield control system,Wet-heads, Joy Outby System,Faceboss,Stamler AC haulers,JNA outby comms system,and much,much more. I also received exstensive training on all Joy.Stamler, and Continental equipment. Also helped in commissioning new and rebuilt equipment, assisted with customer training in the maintenance and operation of the respected equipment. And helped to develop maintenance and replacement schedules and monitored reliability,and monitored equipment on Joy's life cycle program to help make equipment improvements in productivity,cost,reliabilty, and safety.While there I also helped tear down, and build new equipment from the ground up at the Franklin,PA factory, and the Homer City,PA factory. And much more. The reason for leaving was that I wanted to take a Maintenance Foreman job with another company,that offered more benefits, and a more stable work schedule.
Longwall Mechanic, Emerald Resources.
Worked as a Longwall mechanic at the Emerald mine on both of their faces. Was responsible for all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, Preventive maintenance, permissibility, and the servicing of the equipment. While there I worked on JOY 7LS1 and 7LS2 shearers,DBT 1.75m and 2.05m roof supports with PM-4 and PMC-R electro-hydraulic controls, DBT face conveyors with CST 45 and 65 series drives with Protec and PMC-D and PMC-V controls, DBT BSL's and Crushers, and Kamaat pumps. We also used Service Machine controls,and high voltage KVA boxes on the face. We used 14-12 miner bolters,14-10 miner bolters,and Sandvik ABM15 miner bolters with Joy 10 shuttle cars,Joy 14BU loaders,and Fletcher bolters for development sections. Also worked on and installed a variety of high voltage equipment,water pumps, and mine comms systems like phones,PLC's,fiber optics,leaky feeder systems,wireless tracking systems and more.
Electrician, Peabody Energy
Started as an Electrician on a weekend warrior maint crew. We were responsible for all the major jobs on 3 CM sections and all outby belt heads and equipment, such as changing out cutter heads,setting belt heads and much more. I worked on Joy 14-15CMs with Dual 6,hybrid AC,C2C,and full Faceboss machines, DBT 816 uni-haulers and Phillips Freedom cars,battery and cable with Saminco digital drives, Fletcher RR-II bolters,DBT 488 scoops,DBT diesel scoops,Wallace diesel man-trips, and Getman tractors. I then went too the Federal #2 mine were I worked on CM and Longwall sections doing all types of service work. I worked on a full Joy longwall face, with the first Faceboss controlled shearer in the world. We also used the new PCU controller for AFC drives and the Joy Outby System for full face monitoring and automation. We used the RS20 system for shield controls and PLC's for AFC controls. Also worked on and installed belt transformers and control systems,mine comms systems, high voltage power centers,and line splitters,sub station equipment,pumps, and DC trolley systems.
Electrician, Mingo Logan Coal.
Started as an Electrician on a panel development section on production shift working on Joy 14-15CMs with the hybrid AC traction system, Joy 10SCs, and Fletcher Roof Rangers. I took care of all breakdowns, assigned PM work and permissibility. After that I was moved to the Longwall section, while there I helped perform maintenance on a Joy 7LS2 shearer,DBT roof supports w/RS20 controls, and Joy and Longwall Associates low seam face conveyors,BSLs, and crushers with Voith drives and PLC controls. Alos worked on high voltage equipment,turbine pumps,trolley system,man trips,water pumps, and more.
Electrician, Various locations, Massey Energy.
Worked as an Electrician at various mines. Worked on alot of different equipment in a variety of jobs. I started as a troubleshooter on miner section. I was then moved to another mine as the outby Electrician responsible for all belt heads and outby equipment.. I worked on a variety of equipment including Joy 14-15CMs,12-12CM's,12-27CM's,12-15CM's,DBT dash 1 and dash 2 miners. A variety of Fletcher roof bolters.Joy 10SC's and 21SC's, Fairchild 35C scoops,DBT 488 and 482 scoops,Powell scoops,and lots of Brookville diesel and battery equipment and full Joy longwall faces with Longwall Assocites low seam pan lines, DBT shield haulers and much more. Reason for leaving was that they shut down the Rockhouse longwall, and wanted us to go to another longwall operation almost 2 hours away, and at that time I could not afford to move or drive that far so I took the Mingo Logan job closer to home.
General Laboror to Electrician, Browning Fork Coal.
Started as a red hat performing all routine mine jobs such as building stoppings, cleaning belt lines, and rock-dusting. I then moved to a miner section and started running equipment such as SC's,Miners, and Bolters. After this I was moved to Greaser position were I was responsible for servicing equipment. I then became certified as an Electrician and worked on 3rd shift maintenance crew. Then I was moved too eve shift as a troubleshooter, were I helped keep equipment running for the production of coal. Reason for leaving was that the mine was shutting down due to high costs and running out of coal.

I helped on many installations of Outby comms systems,including leaky feeder,wireless, and fiber optics systems for underground internet and data transfer with the Joy Faceboss and Joy Outby System.
