Roles and Responsibilities:
* Maintenance planning using CMMS, Preparing work scopes, Scheduling, Analyzing critical activities, developing systems and procedures and preparing all periodic reports for shutdown and maintenance activities for repairing and overhauling of pumps, valves, compressors, gear box, roller bearing assembly, shearing machines etc. and manufacturing spares for the assembly.
* Receive and analyse incoming notifications from plant and external services through workshops co-ordinator planner.
* Inspect the equipment when necessary, Co-ordinate methods of repair/manufacture with the co-ordinator planner, whenever necessary and obtain sufficient information for the work requested and execute according to recognised engineering standards.
* Create work orders. Ensure that appropriate actions are taken from feedback received during the performance and completion of the work orders. Also provide feedback to the concerned workshops co-ordinator planner, if their requirement cannot be fully met.
* Support other workshop planners, supervisors, specialist, customers and engineers via good communication and full co-operation.
* Supervise all planning and scheduling activities and provide weekly report for the job status to user.
* Follow-up status of the job and the sub orders created and update the task lists and procedures based on technical and engineering standards.
* Close the completed work orders. Issue the MRS and scrap sheet as when required.
* Follow up and update the pending jobs and reschedule as required.
* Supervise, monitor and support the assistant planner.
* Ensure adherence to quality standards and through proactive maintenance identify the areas of quality failures and step to rectify the same through application of trouble shooting tools.
