Ladies/Gentlemen

In the interest of exploring employment opportunities with your organization, I have enclosed a copy of my resume for your review. It will furnish you with some information relative to my field of study, work experience, and capabilities.

As my resume indicates, I am a graduate of The Hobart Institute of Welding Technology where I completed the combination structural and pipe welding program. This program has provided me with a broad knowledge of welding, including gas tungsten arc welding of titanium, stainless steel, and aluminum. In addition to learning advanced welding skills, it also oriented me to the various welding gases and safe handling techniques. Through out the duration of my training, I passed all the associated written and skills tests. My future goals include becoming a certified welding inspector.

I am applying to your organization with the intention of enhancing your productivity, as well as gaining valuable work experience in the welding field. I will bring great dependability, organization, a good work ethic, and innovative ideas to your organization. I feel that my background ensures that I would be a strong value for your organization.

Realizing that this summary cannot begin to communicate the benefits that I can provide, I would like to request the opportunity to speak to you personally. Your time and consideration regarding this matter are most appreciated, and I look forward to hearing from you.
