* Project description:
- In 2001 the Nigerian Government (under the auspices of the Ministry of Power and Steel) and The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Ltd (SPDC) entered into an agreement for the expansion, rehabilitation and operation of the Afam Power Plants. Following this agreement Shell will lease and operate the Afam V Power Plant and build and operate a new Afam VI Power Plant.

The Okoloma Gas Plant scope of the Afam Integrated Project has been initiated to supply the base load gas requirement of the Afam Power Plants.

In order to support SPDC with all procurement required for the Okoloma Gas Plant project Slot/UTT logistics (Nigeria, The Netherlands) and IMPaC Offshore Engineering (Nigeria, Germany) have established the Afam Procurement Joint Venture (APJV). The head office of the APJV is located in Hamburg, Germany.
* Job description Senior Buyer:
- Issue Request for quotations (RFQ's) based on the approved vendor list, prepare Bid Evaluations, prepare Tender Board Proposals, issue Purchase Orders (PO's), chair Kick-off meetings, desk expediting and field expediting.
